Lakers Work Overtime To Beat Nuggets, 120-116.

LeBron James posted his 12th triple-double of the season, as he and the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Denver Nuggets 120-116 last night in Denver.
The league’s assist leader finished with 14 assists, which produced 69 points for the team in a big road win in the last game. James played one of his best games of the season, at the end of the first half, LeBron showed off his determination to propel the Lakers to the win with a great drive to the basket to give the Lakers a 61-55 lead.
In the second half, after Denver held a 13 point lead, the Lakers and Nuggets were tied at the end of regulation at 111 all.
In the overtime period, the Lakers only trailed by two points, Jamal Murray started the scoring with a layup, but LeBron came back with a nice driving layup to tie the game at 113. Anthony Davis hit a 25-foot three-pointer to give the Lakers the lead for good at 116-113. Nuggets guard Gary Harris hit a 23-foot three-pointer to tie the game at 116, at the 3:06 mark, but once again Anthony Davis came through with another impressive three-pointer to give the Lakers a 119-116 lead. After getting fouled with 15.6 seconds left in the overtime, Davis hit one of two free-throws that gave the Lakers the final point of the game at 120.
Davis finished the game with 33 points and 10 rebounds in 42 minutes of play. Dwight Howard ended the game with a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards. James is now tied with the Dallas Mavs Luka Doncic for the lead for triple-doubles this season.
