Lakers Winning Streak Ends With Loss To Mavs

The Los Angeles Lakers took on the Dallas Mavericks riding high on a three game winning streak, but Harrison Barnes and Seth Curry put that to bed with a 109-97 victory.

Barnes has accepted the role of being a go-to option on the offensive end scored 31 points to lead the charge. J.J. Barea flirted with a triple-double as he scored 18 points to go along with 8 assists and 7 rebounds.

Curry scored stepped up in the absence of Deron Williams and chipped in 23 points off the bench. Justin Anderson and Dwight Powell each reached double figures off the bench as well with 11 and 10 points.

For the Lakers Julius Randle continued his strong play with a double-double 15 points and 10 rebounds. Nick Young poured in 20 points while Jordan Clarkson scored 22 points off the bench.

D’Angelo Russell scored 12 points to go along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds. Lou Williams chipped in 15 points off the bench.

Los Angeles struggled to take care of the basketball last night. The club committed 17 turnover that ended up hurting them tremendously.

Los Angeles will look to rebound on Thursday night when they take on the Sacramento Kings at 7:30 p.m. on TNT at Golden 1 Center.
