Lakers Win 5th Straight With Win Over Spurs

The Los Angeles Lakers used a huge fourth quarter to beat the San Antonio Spurs 116-112 on Saturday night. Los Angeles outscored the Spurs 36-21 in the fourth quarter.

Julius Randle led the way with 25 points and 6 rebounds. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 18 of his own while Brook Lopez scored 14.

Lonzo Ball scored 18 points including 6 three-pointers, 3 of them in the fourth quarter to lift the Lakers. He also added 11 assists and 7 rebounds. Kyle Kuzma added 11 points and 8 rebounds, while Isaiah Thomas had 21 points and 7 assists off the bench.

For San Antonio Pau Gasol flirted with a triple-double. He had 19 points, 8 assists, and 10 rebounds. Patty Mills added 14 points, and Dejounte Murray added 12 points and 7 rebounds,

Davis Bertans had 11 points, while Rudy Gay and Many Ginobili reached double-figures off the bench with 15 and 12 respectively.

Los Angeles connected on 15/34 three-point attempts while the Spurs hit 7/30 attempts. Los Angeles has won five in a row and will take on the Portland Trail Blazers tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. PST on NBATV.

Luke Walton hopes that Brandon Ingram will be back in the lineup after missing last night’s game.
