The Los Angeles Lakers have their first winning streak since February of 2015. Kobe Bryant sat out due to a sore shoulder but the Lakers were able to rally together and beat the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night 93-84.

Lou Williams led the Lakers in scoring with 24 points. He also had 5 assists and 4 rebounds. Jordan Clarkson added 19 for Los Angeles.

Larry Nance Jr. grabbed a career high 14 rebounds and also had 8 points. Julius Randle was a rebound shy of a double-double. He scored 15 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.

For Philly Nerlens Noel had a strong game. He scored 15 points to go along with 12 rebounds. T.J. McConnell scored 12 points off the bench. He also had 7 assists in 23 minutes.

Jahlil Okafor scored 12 points off the bench and Robert Covington reach double-figures with 10 points and 6 rebounds.

Los Angeles benefited from Philadelphia’s poor shooting from behind the arch. Philly connected on just 4/24 attempts just 17%.

Los Angeles not known for their defense also force the 76ers into 16 turnovers. Up next for the Lakers is the Phoenix Suns at home on Sunday night. Phoenix will be without Eric Bledsoe who underwent knee surgery last week and is out for the year.
