The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Boston Celtics 114-112, in another classic rivalry game with the two most decorated franchises.

Anthony Davis caught fire in the second half to lead the Lakers with 32 points and 13 rebounds while hitting three key three-pointers that changed the momentum of the game.

Jayson Tatum came ready to play for the Celtics, scoring 41 points including an 18 point third quarter. The Lakers as a team play well, but the Celtics were not easily going away with a fight.

Rajon Rondo only had 4 points and 5 assists but his hustle against his former team sparked the Lakers bench play. Kuzma, Howard, Caldwell-Pope, and Caruso all made big contributions for the Lakers, in the win.

The Lakers have now five-game winning streak as the cooled off the Celtics who had won 12 of their last 14 games. The next game will be sort of a homecoming game for the Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans. The second meeting of three for the teams, but this time New Orleans will have Zion Williamson for his 12th game of the season. Williamson is averaging 22.4 PPG and 7.2 RPG.
