Zimmerman is a former second-round pick of the Orlando Magic in the 2015 NBA Draft. He spent one season with the Magic mainly with their development league team the Erie Bayhawks before getting waived this summer.
Los Angeles signed the big man this summer and had him over the last few weeks. If no one claims Zimmerman off waivers he will most likely join the South Bay Lakers.
