Calderon was brought over in a trade with the Chicago Bulls in exchange for two second round picks. The move allowed the Bulls to free up salary cap space that they used to sign free agents Dwayne Wade and Rajon Rondo.
Calderon has not played as much as he would have liked and is only averaging a career low 12 minutes a game. Los Angeles will look to give more minutes to D’Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson with both Lou Williams and Calderon out of the picture.
