Lakers Take Their Talents To South Beach
- Updated: November 10, 2015
Remember the time when the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat were suppose to meet in the Finals? You know Kobe Bryant versus LeBron James in the Finals. Well LeBron is gone and Kobe hasn’t been playing like Kobe this season.
The Heat have recovered a lot better than the Lakers have since one of their players departing. Pat Riley went out and added Goran Dragic, Luol Deng, and Gerald Green to go alongside Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. I still don’t know what happen with Green being hospitalized but I hope he’s alright, the dude is a true Skywalker.
The Heat also got a pleasant surprise with Hassan Whiteside coming out of nowhere and many people believe they drafted the most NBA ready player in the draft with Justise Winslow. Miami has some weapons and they are coming off a solid win over the Toronto Raptors 96-76.
For the Lakers the road trip hasn’t gone so well, but the season hasn’t really gone well in general. The club did get their first win in Brooklyn on Friday night. They fell in New York to the Knicks but Bryant played better than he has which was a good sign.
I’m looking forward to seeing how Julius Randle and D’Angelo Russell will respond to going to against a couple of all-stars.
It’s always a good time when Bryant and Wade square off! Let’s get this W!
