Lakers Take On Wizards In Our Nation’s Capital
- Updated: December 2, 2015
The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the John Wall and the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night. While the Lakers are coming off a loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, the Wizards are coming off an impressive win against the LeBron James led Cavaliers.
Last night was an emotional night for Bryant as he went on to score 20 points and the woes continued from the field. The Wizards are led by their explosive backcourt. Wall and Bradley Beal give teams nightmares with their speed and aggressiveness.
Beal has missed a few games but leads the team in scoring at almost 20 points per game. Wall is a close second averaging 17.4 points per game.
D’Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson will need to find Beal in transition as he is lights out three point shooter. The Wizards have completely changed their style from the years in the past. They are now in a more uptempo and attacking style of play as they look to score early in the shot clock.
Washington has been an up and down team so far this season. They were expected to be one of the better teams in the East after last seasons playoff run but things haven’t gone as planned.
Expect Clarkson to have a big game. He is averaging over 20 points per game in his last three contests.
