For those who don’t know much about Upshaw Holmes reported some of his strengths.
Upshaw had the longest wingspan at the 2015 NBA Draft Combine, measuring 7-foot-5 ½. He also had the highest standing reach at 9-5.

Upshaw will add front court depth to the Lakers that currently features Roy Hibbert and Robert Sacre as the centers. The Lakers are pretty set at the power forward position so Robert Upshaw will need to continue to develop in order to justify the contract.
Mitch Kupchak and the Lakers are expecting big things from Julius Randle, Brandon Bass, and Tariq Black at the 4 spot.
Robert Upshaw will be playing in the summer league with all of the young Lakers. We will continue to track their progress and the Lakers as the offseason progresses.
