Lakers Sign No. 42 Pick Thomas Bryant

According to Shams Charnia of the Vertical, the Los Angeles Lakers have signed second round pick Thomas Bryant to a one-year deal.
Sources: Lakers and No. 42 overall pick Thomas Bryant of Indiana have agreed to a guaranteed deal for next season, with ’18-19 team option.

Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times reported the Lakers would get a deal done with the bigman.
Lakers have pretty much wrapped up for the summer. Will get Thomas Bryant signed. Likely fill last roster spot with 1 who impresses in camp.

Bryant was picked by the Utah Jazz in this year’s draft and was then traded to Los Angeles along with Josh Hart. Bryant had a few strong games in the Las Vegas Summer League.
Bryant will most likely spend sometime with the South Bay Lakers in order to continue to develop. As more information surfaces on the Lakers and their offseason news we will keep you up to date.
