Lakers Sign Kentavious Caldwell-Pope To One-Year Deal

According to Shams Charina of the Vertical, the Los Angeles Lakers have signed free agent guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to a one-year deal worth $12 million dollars.

Caldwell-Pope has spent most of his career with the Detroit Pistons before joining the Lakers last season. He provided a great spark at the off-guard postion guarding most of the NBA’s elite players.
With the LeBron James now in Los Angeles Magic Johnson will continue to build out this roster for the club to compete for Championships for the forseenable future.
Pope will be a lockdown defender and is represneted by Rich Paul who is James’ agent as well.
