Serena Winters of Lakers Nation also reported the news.
The Lakers just announced signings of guard Julian Jacobs and forward Travis Wear to their training camp roster, which now stands at 18.

Jacobs will be among players like Zach Auguste and Travis Wear who will might to earn a spot on the Lakers roster this season. Jacobs will have a hard time making the roster as the Lakers have a lot invested in their current guard situation.
With D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, Marcelo Huertas, Jose Calderon, and Lou Williams already under contract it seems unlikely that Jacobs will join that fold.
