According to Mike Trudell of the Lakers.com the Los Angeles Lakers are expected to sign guard Jabari Brown to a second ten day contract.

Brown was called up from the LA Defenders, the Lakers D-League team after averaging more than 25 point per game.

He has made four appearances with the Lakers since being called up and is averaging 7 points per game. Brown and fellow rookie Jordan Clarkson played college basketball at Missouri together last season and have some great on court chemistry.

Head coach Byron Scott said the following about a new 10-day contract for Jabari Brown, reported via Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News:

“Right now, I’d like to keep him for another 10 days and see how it goes,” Scott said. “I think he’s improved from what we had in the summer time to this time right now.”

The Lakers loss to the Utah Jazz last night and will take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night at home.
