Lakers Shut Down Suns Win 97-77

The Los Angeles Lakers held the Phoenix Suns to 22 points in the first half and went on to win their third straight game 97-77.
Lou Williams led the way with 30 points and 7 rebounds. Larry Nance Jr. had double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Roy Hibbert reached double figures with 13 points. Jordan Clarkson also chipped in 12 points.
Kobe Bryant was forced to miss the game due to an shoulder injury. Julius Randle struggled scoring only 2 points but did grab 12 rebounds in 16 minutes.
Brandon Knight led the way with 25 points and 9 assists. Devin Booker chipped in 10 points and Mirza Teletovic scored 16 points off the bench to go along with 8 rebounds.
Phoenix shot just 36% from the field, and 22% from behind the three point line. Jeff Hornacek is on the hot seat with another uninspiring effort from his club.
Los Angeles is undefeated in 2016 and will take on the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night. Fans can tune into to the game on NBATV.
