With the 27th pick of the NBA draft the Los Angeles Lakers select Larry Nance Jr. from the University of Wyoming.

Nance Jr. is the son of former NBA dunk contest champion Larry Nance senior. Ryan Holmgren of the University of Wyoming beat reported that the Spurs were thinking of drafting Nance.

Mike Trudell of the Los Angeles Lakers reported that Nance won defensive player of the year for the Mountain West Conference.

The Lakers used the second pick to select D’Angelo Russell with the second pick of the draft earlier on this evening. It’s been an exciting day in Lakerland!
The biggest moves for the Lakers are yet to come. They are reported to make a strong run at Kevin Love, LaMarcus Aldridge, and even Jimmy Butler.
