Lakers To Retire Both Jerseys For Kobe Bryant

According to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com, the Los Angeles Lakers will retire both jersey numbers for Kobe Bryant on December 18th against the Golden State Warriors.
Update. BOTH of Kobe’s numbers will be retired.

Per @TMZ_Sports the Lakers sent a letter to season ticket holders telling them to hold their tickets for Dec 18 for a special event

Bryant played the first half of his career wearing number 8 where he won 3 championships along side Shaquille O’Neal and with number 24 he won 2 championships with Pau Gasol.
