Lakers Re-Sign Marcelo Huertas

@CBSLA

According to Adrain Wojnarowski of The Vertical the Los Angeles Lakers have re-signed guard Marcelo Huertas to a two-year deal.

Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr. shared his thoughts on the move.

Huertas came to the NBA last season after spending his career playing in Brazil and Europe. The crafty point guard averaged about 16 minutes a game playing in 53 games last season under Byron Scott.

He averaged 4.5 points to go along with 3.4 assists a game. Huertas looks to be the third point guard heading into next season.

Los Angeles re-signed guard Jordan Clarkson and acquired Jose Calderon via trade from the Chicago Bulls earlier in the week. D’Angelo Russell is also more than capable of bringing the ball up.
