Huertas came to the NBA last season after spending his career playing in Brazil and Europe. The crafty point guard averaged about 16 minutes a game playing in 53 games last season under Byron Scott.
He averaged 4.5 points to go along with 3.4 assists a game. Huertas looks to be the third point guard heading into next season.
Los Angeles re-signed guard Jordan Clarkson and acquired Jose Calderon via trade from the Chicago Bulls earlier in the week. D’Angelo Russell is also more than capable of bringing the ball up.
