Lakers Look To End Skid Vs. Pelicans

Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers look to end their three-game losing streak when they take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday night.

While the Lakers playoff chances are bleak, the Pelicans find themselves in a tight playoff race even without DeMarcus Cousins.

Anthony Davis has taken his game to another level. He’s coming off a 28 point 13 rebound effort as his team is on a three-game winning streak.

Davis is averaging a career-high 28 points per game and has put himself in the MVP conversation, although many believe James Harden has already won that award. Julius Randle and Brook Lopez will have a hard time slowing down the former Kentucky Wildcat.

Expect Isiah Thomas to have a strong game. The Pelicans like to play a fast-free flowing pace that is similar to the Los Angeles style. This should play right into his hands.

Fans can tune in and watch the game at 5:00 p.m. PST
