Lakers Kick Off Season In Portland

The Los Angeles Lakers will begin the 2018-2019 season on the road as they take on the Portland Trailblazers. Portland is coming to a disappointing end to their season last year where they were swept by the New Orleans Pelicans.
For Los Angeles, there is no secret that they added the best player in basketball this offseason in LeBron James. With James now in the fold the Lakers have brought in veterans like Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson, Michael Beasley, and JaVale McGee.
The Lakers are bringing back promising young players like Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart, and Brandon Ingram the club is hoping to take the next step in this rebuilding process.
The Blazers bring back their dynamic backcourt in Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum but will it be enough in the difficult Western Conference? Can Los Angeles get back to the playoffs now that they have LeBron?
It will be an interesting year for both sides. Fans can tune into TNT at 7:30 p.m. PST to watch the game.
