Lakers Interested In Derrick Williams

According to Chris Brousard of ESPN.com the Los Angeles Lakers are interested in free agent forward Derrick Williams.

The Lakers have flirted with the idea of adding Williams to their team since he was a rookie. The Lakers and TimberWolves were discussing a trade that would have sent Pau Gasol to Minnesota.
Williams spent last season with the Sacramento Kings. To say he hasn’t lived up to his potential would be very nice to say.
Last season Williams can off the bench most of the season and average 8.3 points per game. Below are his career statistics.
