Lakers Host Rockets At Staples Center

The Los Angeles Lakers will host the Houston Rockets at the Staples Center on Sunday night. Houston will take on the Clippers at Staples tomorrow night.
Los Angeles comes into the game with a 9-33 record while the Rockets have a 21-20 clip. Houston is coming off a 91-77 loss to the LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Dwight Howard will be a game-time decision. He is battling an oblique injury. Patrick Beverley will also be a game-time decision. He is dealing with an ankle injury.
Jason Terry missed shootaround this morning due to illness. He is listed as questionable for tonight’s game. For Los Angeles Larry Nance Jr. is listed as doubtful. He left last night’s game after three minutes due to a knee injury.
Houston is led by James Harden. Harden is averaging 27.6 points per game on the season. Howard is second on the team averaging 14.2 points.
If Los Angeles wants to have a chance tonight they will have to try to contain Harden and keep him off the free throw line.
