Lakers Grind Out Road Win Over Bulls

The Los Angeles Lakers hobbled into Wednesday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls without their starting backcourt of D’Angelo Russell and Nick Young. They left Chicago with a 96-90 victory.

Julius Randle had a monster game recording 13 points and tying a career high 20 rebounds. Lou Williams and Jordan Clarkson each scored 18 off the bench. Larry Nance Jr. added a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Luol Deng finished in double figures with 10 points and 8 rebounds. For Chicago Jimmy Butler led the way in scoring with 22 points. Dwayne Wade added 17 while Rajon Rondo added 14 points, 6 assists, and 8 rebounds.

Taj Gibson chipped in with a double-double, and Robin Lopez added 10 points. While bothh teams struggled to shoot the ball Chicago connected on just 4/21 three point attempts.

The Lakers also out rebounded the Bulls 60-46 but turned the ball over 24 times. Up next Los Angeles will take on the Toronto Raptors on Friday night at the Air Canda Centre.
