@bball_ref

The Los Angeles Lakers ended their second worst losing streak of the season defeating the Phoenix Suns, 122-110.
The win was the twelfth of the season and moves the team within one game of the Suns for fourth place in the division.

D’Angelo Russell led all scorers with 28 points which included six clutch three-pointers. Russell was amazing from the floor, as the only Lakers player that shot 50%. Los Angeles had help from the bench as well, with three players in double-figures led by Jordan Clarkson‘s 19 points, Ivica Zubac added 14 points in 17 minutes, and Larry Nance Jr. had 13 points and 8 rebounds in the win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS FOR THE LAKERS:

Very impressive numbers for Los Angeles in the 12-point win. One of the best stats were the turnover ratio. Los Angeles only committed nine turnovers for the game. The team forced the Suns to turn the ball over twenty times, due to their good defensive play. D’Angelo Russell’s performance was the key to a 44.4% shooting mark from the three-point range.

NEXT UP FOR THE LAKERS:

Los Angeles (20-45) are off until Sunday night when they will square off with the Philadelphia 76ers, at the Staples Center.
