Lakers End 9-Game Losing Streak With Win Over Hawks

The Los Angeles Lakers snapped a nine-game losing streak when they beat the Atlanta Hawks 132-113 on Sunday night at Staples Center. With all the noise involving LaVar Ball claiming that head coach Luke Walton lost the locker room it was good to see the club pull out the victory.
The Lakers saw eight players reach double figures. Brandon Ingram led the club with 20 points and 7 assists, Lonzo Ball recorded a double-double as well with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Julius Randle had 15 points and 9 rebounds; Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 14 points while Jordan Clarkson chipped in 18.
Kyle Kuzma had 14 points and 6 rebounds, Larry Nance Jr. added 13 points and 8 rebounds while Josh Hart added 12 points off the bench.
For Atlanta, Dennis Schroder had a strong game. He scored a game-high 27 points and had 5 assists while Kent Bazemore added 15. John Collins scored 15 points off the bench.
Los Angeles shot an impressive 56% from the field including 44% from three 16/36. Los Angeles is hoping to use this performance to start a string of wins when they host the Sacremento Kings on Tuesday night.
