Lakers Complete Season Sweep Of Hawks

Los Angeles Lakers completed a season sweep of the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night with a 109-94 victory at Staples Center. With the win Los Angeles improves to 9-9 on the year.
Lou Williams lead they team in scoring with 21 points off the bench. Jordan Clarkson added 18 off the bench and Larry Nance Jr. recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Nick Young scored 17 points as the only starter to reach double figures. For Atlanta Kent Bazemore led the way in scoring with 21 points. Dwight Howard added 19 while Dennis Schroder and Kyle Korver punched in 11 and 10 points respectively.
Mikr Muscala scored 10 points off the bench. Atlanta connected on 12 of 35 three point attempts but only got to the free throw line ten times. Los Angeles out rebounded the Hawks 53-38 including 15-7 on the offensive boards.
Luke Walton‘s club also did a great job of protecting the ball only recording 9 turnovers. Los Angeles will travel to New Orleans to take on Anthony Davis and the Pelicans on Tuesday night at 5:00 p.m. PST.
