Lakers Comeback Falls Short Vs. Phoenix

The Los Angeles Lakers comeback fell short on Friday night as they fell to Phoenix Suns 95-90. Kobe Bryant did not play last night as he missed his second straight game with a sore right shoulder.
Brandon Knight led the Suns in scoring with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. Devin Booker added 21 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds has he a strong game.
P.J. Tucker reached double-figures with 13 points, and Tyson Chandler had a double-double with 12 points and 17 rebounds.
For Los Angeles D’Angelo Russell and Julius both struggled. Russell scored just 9 points, and Randle added 2 points and 9 rebounds.
Lou Williams scored a game high 30 points and Brandon Bass reached double figures with 10 points and 6 rebounds.
Neither team shot well from the field or from behind the arch. Phoenix outrebounded the Lakers 57-50 in game including 17 offensive rebounds compared to LA’s 12.
Los Angeles will have some time off before they take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night.
