Lakers Assign Anthony Brown To D-League

@SoCalSports4You

According to Eric Pincus of the Los Angeles Times the Los Angeles Lakers have assigned rookie guard Anthony Brown to the D-League.

Brown was a second round pick in the 2015 NBA draft by the Lakers. He has appeared in 3 games this year totaling 5 points.

Brown is a 6’7″ wing player that has struggled to find minutes. With Kobe Bryant, Nick Young, Metta World Peace, and Lou Williams all fighting for minutes Brown has been the odd man out.

Serena Winters of Laker Nation tweeted her thoughts about the assignment.

Brown will be able to continue to develop with the Defenders as he should be able to find great playing time. The Defender will take on the Bakersfield Jam tonight a team which features former Laker Earl Clark.

Fans can tune in and watch Brown and the Defenders play via Youtube.
