LA Kings Take Their Show To ChiTown
- Updated: November 2, 2015
The LA Kings take their show to Chicago tonight as look to push their winning streak to 8 in a row. We all know how fierce this rivalry has been over the last few years and tonight’s contest will be full of energy.
Defense and goaltending have been the staple of the Kings during this run. They have allowed just 9 goals during their streak after they gave up 12 if their first 3 games of the season.
Jonathan Quick will need to put some of his struggles against the Hawks behind him. He is just 6-5 in his last 12 starts.
Tyler Toffoli has 8 goals during the King’s hot streak. Jeff Carter scored the game winning goal in overtime for the club.
As much as I hate to say it the Hawks have had the Kings number recently. They have won 5 of the last 6 since the 2013 campaign.
The Kings will not have to face Duncan Keith who is out with a knee injury. The Hawks have struggled without him and it will be the King’s advantage that he is out.
Tonight’s game is the first of a two game road trip. They will take on the St.Louis Blues tomorrow night in St.Louis as well.
