LA Kings Look To Continue Win Streak, Take On Avs

The LA Kings will look to continue their win streak when they take on the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night. Los Angeles is coming off another solid performance with a 2-1 victory over the Flyers.

Los Angeles comes into the game with a 25-11-2 record while Colorado holds a 18-18-3 clip. Semyon Varlamov will start for the Avs tonight. He has struggled as of late but the Avs are hoping he will find his groove tonight.

The Avs also welcomed back Tyson Barrie on Saturday. He missed Thursday’s contest against the Chicago Blackhawks due to flu-like symptoms.

The Avs got Nate Guenin back from injury as well. He had missed a few weeks due to a head injury.

Colorado comes into this game losing four of their last five games. They are led by Nathan MacKinnon and Matt Duchene. McKinnon leads the team with 33 points, 13 goals and 20 assists. Duchene is second on the team with 31 points, 17 goals and 14 assists.

Jonathan Quick was named the first star of the week around the NHL tonight. He is expected to be in goal for Los Angeles.
