LA Kings Sign G Jack Campbell

@Sportsnet

According to Helene Elliott of the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Kings have signed restricted free agent Jack Campbell to a two-year deal.

Here is some information on the two-way contract.

Campbell is a former first round pick of the 2010 NHL Draft by the Dallas Stars. Los Angeles acquired the goaltender from Dallas in a trade that took place in June that involved Nick Ebert.

The 24-year old spent last season with the AHL Texas Stars and the ECHL Idaho Steelheads. In the ECHL he posted a 14-5-1 record.

Campbell will most likely start the season with the Ontario Reign and will get a chance to play for Los Angeles if there are some injuries to the goaltenders in front of him.
