The Los Angeles Kings official Twitter account confirmed the news.
#LAKings assign G Peter Budaj (and his sweet mask) to the AHL’s @ontarioreign.

Budaj was called up following an injury to Jonathan Quick. Budaj did get one start and recorded the win for the club. With Quick healthy and Jhonas Enroth as his backup there was no reason to keep Budaj with the senior club.
Budaj is solid option and was good when called upon. Hopefully Los Angeles will not need to call him up again this season but he isn’t the worst option.
