LA Kings Look To Split Road Trip With Win In St.Louis

The LA Kings head into St.Louis to take on the Blues as they looking to split their short two game road trip. Last night the Kings fell to defending champion Chicago Blackhawks 4-2.

These bitter rivals will look to get the best of one another as they are two of the top teams in the Western Conference. The Blues come into tonight’s game with a 8-2-1 record as they are decimated with injuries. Forwards Jaden Schwartz, Paul Stastny and Patrik Berglund are all down with injury. To make matters worst defensemen Kevin Shattenkirk is also out.

Even with all the injuries the Blues found a way to win their last game at home against the Minnesota Wild. David Backers scored the game winning goal in overtime to give his club the victory.

Vladimir Tarasenko did not play for the Blues over the weekend but is expected to play tonight. The last time the Kings traveled to St.Louis Tarasenko scored a hatrick and the Kings loss 5-2.

The LA Kings have had recent success in the regular season with the Blues. They have won 10 of the last 13 meetings and look to continue that success tonight.

The LA Kings need this win tonight. Go Kings Go!
