LA Kings host Edmonton Oilers

The LA Kings will take on the Edmonton Oilers tonight at the Staples Center. Los Angeles is coming off a victory against the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night.

Edmonton comes into this game with a 22-33-6 record while the Kings sport a 35-20-4 clip. The Oilers have lost five games in a row entering tonight.

For the Edmonton Jujhar Khaira was called up for the Oilers on Wednesday. With the team struggling they are hoping for a spark anywhere.

Anze Kopitar made his return from injury and scored the game winning goal. It’s safe to say the Kings fans missed him.

Taylor Hall and Leon Draisaitl lead the Oilers in points. Number one pick Connor McDavid who missed some time due to an injury is has a solid rookie year.

Hall leads the team with 52 points, 20 goals and 32 assists. Draisaitl is second on the team with 42 points, 15 goals and 27 assists. McDavid has 28 points on the season, 10 goals and 18 assists.
