LA Kings Head To San Jose, Look For Redemption
- Updated: October 22, 2015
The LA Kings head to San Jose to take on the Sharks tonight as they look for redemption after their home opening loss 5-1.
That game helped the Sharks go on to a 4-0-0 start as former King Martin Jones looked unstoppable. However the Sharks have lost their last two matchups and come into tonight;s game with a 4-2-0 record.
On the other hand the Kings are coming off back to back wins against the Minnesota Wild and Colorado Avalanche which has put fans in good spirits.
Jonathan Quick has looked a lot better after his rough start. He has made 47 saves in his last two games combined allowing just 2 goals. That kind of play is exactly what the Kings will need if they want to push their winning streak to 3 in a row tonight.
Tyler Toffoli has had the hot hand as of late. He has scored 3 goals in the last 4 games and Kings fans are eager to have him continue their strong. If you has Phil Loos Toffoli is in for a big year. Check out his thoughts here.
Power plays have been a problem for the Kings this season converting on just 1 of their 21 attempts. It will be interesting to see if the Kings are able to take advantage of numbers tonight.
It’s always a good time when rivals meet. It go time! Go Kings Go!
