The LA Galaxy have selected two more players in the third and fourth round of the MLS SuperDraft.

The first player selected from the third round is Daniel Keller from the University of Louisville. Keller is a designated defender and was the 62nd overall.

During Keller’s senior year, as a captain, he started in all of Louisville’s 22 matches, helping the Cardinals to an 11-8-3 record, as they competed in their first season in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

MLSsoccer.com’s Nate Sulat listed Keller among the best remaining prospects entering Tuesday.

“The Cardinals didn’t have a superlative 2014 on defense — 22 goals conceded in 22 games — but they also didn’t have a ton of collective experience in the back,” Sulat wrote. “Keller was the anchor, and can help a team that needs depth at center back.”

Added soccer expert Ives Galarcep: “For teams looking for a more technical centerback, Keller will be the option. His passing skills out of the back are impressive, but not all teams see him being physical enough for MLS.”

The second player selected by the LA Galaxy, in the fourth round is Andrew Wolverton from Penn State. Wolverton has been hailed one of the best goal keepers in the history of Penn State. He was able to put up an impressive 32 career shutouts with the Nittany Lions and only allowed 0.53 goals per match. His all-time record with Penn State is 38-23-8, and he started in 70 matches during his four years, AND was apart of quite a few All-Big Ten teams during his career.

We can’t wait to see these new players integrate to the Championship team! Welcome to the LA Galaxy!!
