Korbinian Holzer Reassigned for Conditioning Stint

According to Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register the Anaheim Ducks have reassigned Korbinian Holzer to the San Diego Gulls for a conditioning stint.

Ducks also send D Korbinian Holzer to @SDGullsAHL on a conditioning assignment.

The Anaheim Ducks official Twitter account also confirmed the news.

ROSTER MOVES: #NHLDucks reassign G Anton Khudobin to @SDGullsAHL. In addition, D Korbinian Holzer sent to SD on a conditioning assignment.

San Diego was excited to have Holzer last night.

Holzer has been out of the lineup since January 23rd almost a month now so it make sense that Holzer would need to get out there and get his legs back.

Holzer will most likely play a couple games with the Gulls before coming back up but it should be sooner rather than later. Anaheim will take on the Vancouver Canucks tonight at 7:00 p.m. PST.
