Kole Calhoun Wins Gold Glove

According to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles of Anaheim right fielder Kole Calhoun has won his first Gold Glove of his career.

The Los Angeles Angels also confirmed the news on their official Twitter account.

Alden Gonzlez of MLB.com reported that Calhoun was the clear choice for the award.
Kole Calhoun’s FanGraphs defensive rating of 6.6 was easily tops among AL RFs. Also had 11 assists. First GG since Erick Aybar in 2011.

For Calhoun this is his first Gold Glove of his career. He has spent his entire career with the Angels after playing his college ball at Arizona State University.
