As expected, Kobe Bryant will play tonight against Toronto. He missed Monday’s game vs. PHX so he could rest.

Bryant did not play in the Lakers last game against the Phoenix Suns due to back issues. Bryant played 36 minutes in the Lakers win over the Detroit Pistons last weekend and was quoted that he was having a hard moving the next day.
It looks as if the physical toll on Bryant is catching up to him as this is probably his last year playing in the association. Bryant will forever be my favorite player but at this point it is getting tough to watch him struggle in this last season.
The Lakers are just 2-9 on the year and need to get back on the right track sooner rather than later. Bryant is currently second on the team in minutes behind only Jordan Clarkson.
Bryant will always demand heavy minutes as long as he is uniform and the Lakers will need to figure out the best way to preserve him so he makes it through the rest of the year.
The Toronto Raptors come into tonight’s game with a 7-6 record. They are lead by Kyle Lowry who made the all-star team for the first time in his career last year.
