Baxter Holmes of ESPN.com also reported the news.
The Lakers have listed Kobe Bryant (lower leg contusion) as OUT for Monday’s preseason game vs. Portland Trail Blazers at Staples Center.

Bryant missed the Lakers last preseason game and looks like he will miss this one as well. There is no real reason to push Bryant’s body in the preseason if they want him to be healthy for the full 82 game season.
The Lakers official Twitter account reported that Bryant is questionable.
Byron Scott says he considers Kobe Bryant questionable for Monday. Kobe practiced today.

It is good to hear that Bryant practiced yesterday. Byron Scott has no worries about Bryant being available for the regular season.
