- Updated: December 26, 2015
Kobe Bryant announced last month this will be the final year in his storied career. The 17 time All-Star begun the season playing very poorly and with the announcement many people began to speculate if Bryant should be named an All-Star in this final season or not.
There were the fans that believed that Bryant shouldn’t take a spot away from someone is more deserving this season like a Damian Lillard for example. The fans have spoken so far and Bryant is the top vote getting by a landslide.
NBA All Star’s official Twitter account reported the news.

Yes I understand Bryant hasn’t played at an All-Star level this year but if this holds up it will be great to see him one final time at All-Star Weekend.
Currently Bryant has more votes than Kevin Durant and LeBron James combined. That just goes to show the respect people have around the league for Bryant and everything he has done in his career.
