Klein’s Big Game Lifts Rangers Overs Ducks

Kevin Klein scored two goals to lift the New York Rangers over the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday night. The Ducks have lost four of their last five games.

The Ducks got on the board first in the first period when Jamie McGinn scored a slap shot goal. His goal was assisted by Corey Perry and gave Anaheim a 1-0.

Anaheim outshot the Rangers in the period 5-4 but were unable to capitalize on their opportunities. In the second period Klein scored a snap shot goal to tie the game at 1-1. Tanner Glass and Dominic Moore were credited with the assists.

Klein was at it again in the third period. He scored a tip-in shot in the middle of period that gave the Rangers a 2-1 advantage. Klein’s second goal was assisted by J.T. Miller and Eric and the Rangers went on to win 2-1.

John Gibson made 21 saves with a 91% save percentage. Antti Raanta made 22 saves for a 96% save percentage. Up next Anaheim will take on the Boston Bruins at home on Friday night. Fans can get their tickets here.
