Kings Trade Ben Bishop To Dallas Stars

According to Frank Servalli of TSN Sports, the Los Angeles Kings have traded goaltender Ben Bishop to the Dallas Stars in exchange for a 2017 fourth round draft pick.

Jon Rosen of lakingsinsider.com also reported the news.
Kings had spoken with Dallas last week about Bishop, but the deal fell into place today.

John Shannon of Sportsnet shared his thoughts on the move.
In discussions with Kings, Bishop made it clear he preferred certain teams. Told them he wanted to be in Dallas.

Bishop is a former third round pick of the St.Louis Blues in the 2005 NHL Draft. He has spent time with the Blues, Owatta Senators, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Kings throughout his career.
