Pearson suffer the injury in 5-4 shootout loss to the Winnipeg Jets. Pearson had been selected to participate in the rookie skills competition during All-Star weekend slated to start next weekend but that looks like that is out of the question.
As soon as Pearson suffered the injury many Kings were nervous that he could be out for an extended amount of time and looks like those nerves may come into fruition.
With Tanner Person hitting the injury reserve the Kings have called up AHL All-Star Nick Shore. Mike Chambers, a Denver Post beat writer congulated Shore on Twitter.
Congrats to @DU_Hockey‘s Nick Shore, called up by LAK & might make NHL debut Monday. Shore is AHL all-star w 20-21 in 37 for Manchester
