Scuderi at 37 years of age is far past his prime but does provide value in other ways off the ice. He has won two Stanley Cups throughout his career, one with the Pittsburgh Penguins and another with the Los Angeles Kings back in 2012.
Los Angeles wet out and reacquired the veteran at the deadline in exchange for Christian Ehroff. If Scuderi clears waivers he can provide leadership to the younger players on the Ontario Reign.
Opening night is just a few days away!
