Kings Place Jonny Brodzinski On IR

According to Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Kings have placed center Jonny Brodzinski on the injured reserve.
As expected, Dustin Brown and Jonny Brodzinski on IR; Vilardi an injured non-roster player. Per Rob Blake, Brown underwent a procedure yesterday. Too early to determine if he’s a LTIR candidate (10 games/28 days).

Lisa Dillman of the Athletic reported the news of Brodzinski’s shoulder surgery.

Jon Rosen of lakingsinsider.com first reported the news of his injury a few weeks ago.

Brodzinski was selected in the 5th round of the 2013 NHL draft by the Kings. Last season Brodzinski appeared in 35 games totaling 6 points. He had 4 goals and 2 assists.
