Kings Look To End Oilers Home Win Streak Tonight
- Updated: December 29, 2015
The Los Angeles Kings travel to Edmonton to take on the Oilers tonight in the midst of the Oilers seven game home winning streak. Los Angeles is coming off an impressive win in which Tyler Toffoli recorded a hat trick, Jonathan Quick a shutout, and Anze Kopitar recorded four assists.
While the Kings come into this game with a 22-11-2 record, Edmonton has a 15-19-3 clip. The Oilers come into the game on a two game losing streak and will try to take advantage of the Kings playing last night.
Edmonton will probably be without Brandon Davidson who is dealing with a rib injury. He has been out since December 19th and although he is working his way back may not be available for tonight’s contest.
The Oilers also pulled off a trade yesterday. They traded former Kings goalie Ben Scrivens to the Montreal Canadiens for Zack Kassian.
Edmonton is led by Taylor Hall and Leon Draisaitl. Hall leads the club with 40 points, 15 goals and 25 assists. Draisati is second on the team with 9 goals and 22 assists.
The Kings are on a two game winning streak. Let’s keep this up in Edmonton!
