Kings Look To Start 2nd Half Strong
- Updated: January 30, 2018
The Los Angeles Kings look to start the second half of the season with a strong performance when they take on the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night at the American Airlines Center.
Jon Rosen of lakingsinsider.com reported news on Los Angeles.
Carter didn’t skate today, but it sounds like he’ll get back out tomorrow, via JS. Not quite ready to skate with the guys yet. Also good to have him on the father’s trip as a leadership figure (and his dad, Jim, really enjoys this trip).

Rosen continued.
Stevens said Quick got some good maintenance and rehab in over the break. The work and rehab puts him in a good position coming out of the break. Day-to-day. “No reason why he shouldn’t join us soon.”

Rosen added more information.
Carter on the trip, but it’s the dad’s trip, so I wouldn’t read A TON into his travel presence. He’s not on the ice today (at least, not at the start – will update if he joins later). Believe Kopitar and Doughty are at the rink but not skating.
