Los Angeles Kings Interested In Roman Polak?
- Updated: February 17, 2015
According to Erin Duhatschek of The Globe and Mail the Los Angeles Kings are interested in Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Roman Polak.
With the trade deadline fastly approaching the Kings have been linked to numerous defensive to try to sure up their blue line.
Below is an excerpt of his article.
“After Yandle, the available defencemen are all value buys: The Coyotes’ Zbynek Michalek, the Carolina Hurricanes’ Andrej Sekera, the Edmonton Oilers’ Jeff Petry or the Maple Leafs’ Roman Polak, a player coveted by the Kings.”
Although the Kings are on a five game winning streak they may want to add some more defense for this playoff run. With Slava Voynov out for the long hall and the Kings no longer having Willie Mitchell an addition of Roman Polak could be a huge addition.
Roman Polak currently leads the Leafs in hits and will most likely hit free agency after his contract expires in 2016.
