Kings Have Heavy Dose Of The Blues; Fall 5-2

The Los Angeles Kings lost tonight as they took a trip to St. Louis. The game ended at 5-2 in the Blues favor.

The Kings started the game strong as Marian Gaborik scored back-to-back goals in the second period. But the third period was where things started to go wrong.

The Blues went into the third period and narrowed the Kings lead, they tied the game and then they took off. Once there was a draw, the Kings were buried at 5-2. Vladimir Tarasenko scored these three goals.

Los Angeles has dominated the Blues in recent seasons, winning seven of eight in the regular season and 17 of 21 including the playoffs.

Los Angeles have now lost three straight games and five of six. They will take on the Blues again on Thursday.

Los Angeles will need to get back on track in order to get back in the race for the playoffs. The uncharacteristic loss put fans in weird place. Los Angeles is looking to get back in their winning ways and will look for a rematch next Thursday.
